Green is the Colour, The Artistic Stamper Challenge March

So Green is the Colour, for The Artistic Stamper Challenge this March, and though I am a proud St Patrick's day baby I decided to used Neil Walkers Butterfly Square stamp and a selection of green papers from my stash, to create a paper pieced project.

first I found some scraps and stamped the Butterfly Square on them all, then I cut some of the butterfly bits out and experimented with which background to use.

I decided I was adding enough pattern so went for a plain background, I then  used Cosmic Shimmer glue to add the layers to each butterfly image

Mounted on a grey background and then a bit of white pen doodling and some outlining in black.

Anything Goes January 2019 Artistic Stamper Challenge

Happy New Year Everyone

So the challenge is Anything Goes at the Artistic Stamper for January 2019, which left me in a quandry, what should I do, aargghhhhhhhhhhhhh, and I left it till the last minute, well you know little thing called Christmas happened, and when I woke from my food coma, I had two days to create in, when, really, I needed to finish off mince pies and chocolates before the New Year and the big DIET.

So I knuckled down and decided to create a colourful tag, which became a trio of tags, with the promise of a festive treat at each step. LOL.

these are the products I used

and these are the steps

paint, tone on tone stamping, contrast stamping, ghost masking, spray ink through stencil, placement play

Finished off with some butterflies, washi tape, flower ribbon, and a wee bit of glitter on the ribbon flowers, was going to add some sari ribbon to the tag, but it has dissapeared into the craft abyss.
So I hope you enjoyed my trio of tags, please leave me a comment to let me know you popped by. I have also added a followers button at the top right hand, please click to follow.
